Accomplishments
Present: author, illustrator, and desktop publisher for two horror /science
fiction novels, The Maidens of Babylon (© 2002) and The Arachne
Experiment (© 2003); and an
illustrated book of poetry, The Eye That Is Me (© 2003); her work
has been seen on numerous online art galleries, including Digital
Consciousness, Espectro, Vlad Art Gallery, and Artists Worldwide, a
site based in Marangaroo, Australia. She has also been featured in
The Antiochian, the alumni newsletter of Antioch College. 2003: book
signing/art show held at the US Department of Labor, Washington, DC;
book signing/art show held at St. Marks’ Dance Studio, St. Marks’
Episcopal Church, Washington, DC; novel promotion held at the 2003
Horrorfind Weekend Convention, Hunt Valley, Maryland; novel
promotion held at the Screamfest 2003 Convention, Plantation,
Florida; 1995 - 2000: competitive bodybuilder/fitness trainer/martial
artist; 1990: Assistant Floor Manager for three separate theater
productions, including Beckett, a production of short plays by the
Irish playwright, Samuel Beckett held at the Woolly Mammoth Theater,
Washington, DC.; 1989 - 1990: writer, producer, co-director, and
camera person for a 60 minute "mock" documentary video shown on DCTV
Public Access; 1987: writer, producer, director and editor for two
25-minute
video programs, including a documentary depicting interracial
couples and their relationships with their biracial children; and a
video/performance art program portraying the history of video
technology in the visual and performance arts.
